Remove any fruit that is still on the vine that will not be harvested. When fruit is left on the vine through the winter it will begin to rot. By removing this left over fruit it will prevent a fungus that comes from rotting grapes of getting into the fruiting spurs, thus giving less disease pressure the following season.
Remove any side growth from the trunks
This is also a great time to apply a pre-emergence
(if desired) to control fall weeds,
Karmex, Surflan and Simazine are all good choices.
